Interaction Design and Children Conference 2024
09/07/2024

We are excited to share the success of our recent presentation at the Interaction Design and Children Conference in Delft, Netherlands, on June 18, 2024. We presented the demo with the title “Science Chaser App: A Gamified Learning Journey into STEM Activities”, and you can find the full article here, published by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). Furthermore, we showcased a live demo of Science Chaser, our innovative gamified web application designed to enrich and extend STEM education for children.

During the demo session, attendees experienced firsthand how Science Chaser integrates engaging STEM activities into educational settings. The demo highlighted the app’s user-friendly interface, diverse science challenges, and its role as a science companion for young learners. We demonstrated how Science Chaser not only makes learning science fun and interactive but also collects valuable data on children’s science proficiency, providing evidence-based insights into the effectiveness of various science activities.

Key Highlights:

  • Interactive Demonstration: Attendees explored the app’s gamified environment and participated in science challenges designed to foster independent learning and active exploration.
  • Data Insights: We showcased how Science Chaser collects data to help educators and researchers understand and improve STEM education.
  • Engagement: The demo illustrated how the app encourages children to embark on their unique science journeys, extending learning beyond the classroom through every day science experiences.

The positive feedback and enthusiasm from the audience affirmed the potential of Science Chaser to enhance STEM education and inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.

We thank everyone who attended the presentation and invite those interested to learn more about Science Chaser and its impact on STEM learning. Together, let’s continue to explore and innovate in the field of science education.
